How does the protection work?
Patented Bonding Technology
MetPro’s patented bonding technology is an innovative self-adhesive process specifically designed for automated packaging processes. The overlapping film layers bond firmly to each other without adhering to the surface of your products, thereby forming a durable, sealed protective barrier around the packaged item.
A single packaging cycle with a material overlap of just 30% is sufficient to achieve a complete seal that provides reliable corrosion protection while minimizing material consumption.
BioCor® Corrosion Protection
BioCor® corrosion protection films work according to the VCI method. VCI stands for Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor. These inhibitors are released within closed packaging and wrap themselves around like an invisible protective cover, that prevents the metal from reacting with air and moisture. After unpacking, the VCI evaporates without leaving any residue. This means that the packed item can be used directly without additional cleaning.

The film is robust enough to withstand even the most demanding logistics processes, repeated handling, and harsh transport conditions. Additional secondary packaging is therefore not necessary.
Thanks to our patented bonding technology, a packaging cycle with only 30% overlap is sufficient to form a completely closed protective cover around your product. In combination with our natural VCI technology BioCor®, WrapWeave offers reliable corrosion protection for heavy goods in a single packaging run.
