Purchasing Officer (m/f/d) Part-Time (20 Hours/Week)

To strengthen our team in Jesewitz, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Purchasing Officer (m/f/d) on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). If you enjoy organizing, negotiating, and collaborating with regional and national suppliers, you could be the perfect fit for our team.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational purchasing of goods and services, including demand planning, supplier selection, and price inquiries
• Obtaining and evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules
• Processing purchase orders, placing orders, and monitoring delivery dates, quality standards, and supplier performance (SCEM)
• Tracking and ensuring material availability, while proactively resolving supply deviations
• Managing supplier complaints and working closely with Quality Assurance, Production, and Sales teams
• Supporting procurement strategy and optimization projects, such as supplier development, cost analysis, and process improvements

Your Profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Initial professional experience in procurement is desirable, ideally within an industrial environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP system knowledge is an advantage
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities in both German and English
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working
• Team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues on-site
